CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The popular Clarksville nightclub O’Connor’s Irish Pub has announced they have closed theirs doors permanently.
According to a Facebook post, their last day of operation was Aug. 28.
O’Connor’s, located at 1198 Tylertown Road, has been doing business in the community for about 15 years. When it was announced on Facebook they would be closing their doors, the business was flooded with questions and concerns.
In the comments section on the Facebook post, owner Greg Parbs said, “It’s just time to retire and move on. We appreciate the memories! ”
Clarksville Now has reached out to Parbs for comment.
“The time has come to close our doors and move onto the next phase in life,” said a statement on the O’Connor’s website. “We thank our staff over the 15 years who serviced our amazing customers. We also want to thank all the DJ’s (and) music acts who made the atmosphere possible. We especially want to thank our vendors, suppliers (and) builders for an outstanding job servicing and creating the venue over the years.”
