CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – O’Charley’s restaurant handed out free meals Thursday in Clarksville. The O’ Charley’s food trailer was set up in the parking lot of the restaurant on Riverside Drive with over 150 free meals for First Responders.
Members of the Clarksville Police Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Clarksville Fire Rescue, and others received a cheeseburger, chips and a drink as part of the O’Charley’s ‘Hometown Heroes’ initiative.
Officer Nicolas Johnson with the Clarksville Police Department said he thought what O’Charley’s was doing was great.
“They come out and support the first responders. We’ve got a lot of businesses able to donate food to fire, police and EMS,” Johnson said. ” I just think it’s really cool because there’s a lot of us working around the clock. Anything they can do to help, I think it’s great.”
On Tuesday April 21, O’Charley’s handed out free meals to employees of Tennove Healthcare-Clarksville.
