NASHVILLE, Tenn. – President Obama will visit Nashville Thursday, Jan. 30 to discuss the expansion of economic opportunity and job growth.

“We are excited and proud to learn today that President Obama has chosen Nashville to deliver an address on how we can do more to provide opportunities to all Americans and strengthen the middle class,” House Democratic Chairman Mike Turner said in a statement.

The visit is part of a tour of the nation which follows Obama’s State of the Untion addres, scheduled for Tuesday at 8 p.m.
