OAK GROVE, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Oak Grove Spring into Summer Salutes Fort Campbell Festival will be held May 26 and 27 at the Viceroy Performing Arts Center at 101 Walter Garrett Lane.
Country music band Parmalee will headline the festival.
Parmalee is known for their 2013 breakout single, “Carolina,” which turned into a Platinum-certified #1 hit, while their debut album landed in the Top 10. Two more singles “Close Your Eyes” and “Already Callin’ You Mine” rose to #4 and #10 on the Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. The concert, along with all other activities at the Spring into Summer Festival, is free and open to the public.
“We are excited to have Parmalee for our 11th annual International & Regional award winning Festival,” said Traci Cunningham, Executive Director of Oak Grove Tourism. “The relationship between country music artists, our troops and their families is a long-standing tradition and we are delighted and thrilled Parmalee will be bringing their talent and support to Oak Grove, Ky.”
There will be free carnival rides, stage shows, free pictures at the photo booth, bungee trampolines, and so much more.
Saturday night includes a free concert from headliner Parmalee, parachute jumper show, and fireworks.
This festival has been awarded as the one of the top three festivals in both the southeast region and worldwide for two years in a row. The event is free and open to the public and will include various vendors and a variety of free shows.
All activities will start at noon both days. This event will take place at the War Memorial Walking Trail Park at 101 Walter Garrett Lane, Oak Grove, KY 42262.
Free admission, free parking, and free carnival rides. Vendors will be on site with a variety of food options. No pets or coolers permitted.
