OAK GROVE, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Oak Grove Police are looking for a suspect wanted for a shooting that injured one person.
According to a press release, police were dispatched to area of 116 Grant Avenue for a shots fired call on July 17 around 12:53 a.m.
A man was found in the front yard of the residence with a gunshot wound.
Reports said the shooting may have resulted from a confrontation between the victim and potential suspect, who is described by police as a black adult male. No further description of the man was available.
The victim was was transported to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville where he was reported to be in stable condition.
Witnesses said a black or dark colored vehicle was seen leaving the area.
