OAK GROVE, Ky. – The City of Oak Grove Water Department will shut down a portion of the water main from the Highway 911 and 115 intersection west along Highway 911 to Wilson Dr. due to construction on June 10.
Residents along Highway 911, Cable Road, Haley Street, and Wilson Drive will be affected. Homes and businesses will be without water for approximately two to five hours.
The city will mandate a boil water advisory as a precautionary measure. Water provided during this period may be contaminated and must be boiled for three minutes at a rolling boil before consumption or use.
The advisory will be lifted after water samples are collected and approved. This process may take 24 to 48 hours.
