CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- (CLARKSVILLENOW) Northwest High School’s Athletic Department is pleased to share that Kyah McGee has committed to play soccer at Martin Methodist College located in Pulaski, TN.

Kyah signed her commitment paperwork in a signing ceremony held February 7, 2018 at Northwest High School. Kyah McGee has played club level soccer since she was six years old. Her previous team awards include Defensive MVP for 2014 and 2015 and Offensive MVP for 2016 and 2017. Kyah was selected to the Leaf Chronicle All-Area team in 2017 and was chosen as the Offensive Team Captain for the Northwest Lady Vikings her senior year.

Northwest Athletic Director, Jessica Peppard, stated, “Northwest is incredibly proud of Kyah and her accomplishments, both in the classroom and on the soccer field. We are excited to see what the future holds for Kyah.”

Northwest High School’s soccer coach, Kristine Solano, shared “We are so happy for Kyah and the opportunities that have been afforded to her with the decision to play for Martin Methodist College. Kyah’s love for soccer clearly drives the talent and skill that she possesses and brings to every game and practice. Kyah’s departure will be a significant hit to our team next year, but we are excited for her continue her soccer career. We wish lots of luck to Kyah as she pursues her soccer career at the next level.”
