CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Northwest High running back Bricen Moore has earned Clarksville Now Player of the Week for week one of the 2024-25 regular season. Moore scored four touchdowns against the Fort Campbell Falcons this past Friday, which led to a 35-16 Viking victory.
The Vikings ground game shined throughout their first game, but Moore was the star of the show. The senior running back was efficient to say the least, as he carried the ball 10 times for 57 rushing yards. Most importantly, out of those 10 rushing attempts, he found the endzone four times, powering the Vikings to their first win of the early season.

Seizing the opportunity
The Vikings were able to cause miscues early in the game against the Falcons, which included starting their first two drives in their opponent’s territory. Whenever they got close to the endzone, they’d give the ball to number three, Moore, to punch it in. Moore says his career has been up and down, but he has stayed consistent and driven throughout.
“Just because you failed doesn’t mean you give up,” Moore told Clarksville Now. “It’s all thanks to my teammates and coaches that I’m able to do this.”
“Bricen getting this award is a great reward for his hardnosed approach to running the ball,” said Northwest High head coach Mark Hall. “I am sure he would also give the offensive line credit as well. His style of running was crucial last Friday night by not only scoring but being part of a long drive to finish the game.”
