On Friday, Jan. 12, Northwest High School announced Mark Hall will be elevated to be their next head football coach after previously serving as the team’s defensive coordinator for two seasons.

“I am grateful to the Northwest administration for giving me this opportunity,” says Hall. “I am excited to work with the team and continue developing athletes into successful young adults.”

“I am excited to see Coach Hall take on this role,” said Northwest High Athletic Director Elizabeth McDonald. “There was a lot of interest in the position, and it wasn’t an easy decision, but the administrative team truly feels that Coach Hall has what it takes to bring our program to the next level on the field and in the classroom.”

Hall will take over for former head coach Reynaldo Pena, who parted ways with the program following a winless 2023-24 season.
