CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Northwest High senior forward Grace Fuuau has been named the Clarksville Now Player of the Week following her all-around performance in the paint during the week of Jan. 20. The Lady Vikings went undefeated for the week, picking up two key district wins.
““I’m very proud of Grace for being the player she is,” said Northwest head coach Ben Wallace. “She tries hard to be the leader that we need both on and off the court and is an absolute joy to know. She represents everything that a coach wants in a player.”

Fuuau over the two-game span averaged 15.5 points, 4.5 steals, 13 rebounds, and two assists per contest, doing it all to help push the Vikings to win, including an overtime win against Henry County, and a rivalry win against West Creek.

“I’m very honored to receive the Player of the Week award,” said Fuuau. “I couldn’t have done it without my team, who works hard to get me the ball in areas I’m able to score, and my coach who embraces my style of play.”
