CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Northeast Eagles hosted the Henry County Patriots on Friday night, with the Patriots going away with a win.

The first quarter saw both teams struggling to find any offensive momentum as neither side managed to score. In the second quarter, Henry County opened the scoring with a rushing touchdown. Connor Fowlkes added a fumble return touchdown, giving the Patriots a 14-point lead.

Northeast answered with a 25-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Amizaye Sanchez to running back Harold Marshall III, putting the Eagles on the board at 6-14. Henry County added two more touchdowns before halftime, making it 6-27 at the break.

In the third quarter, Henry County scored again, pushing the lead to 6-34. Northeast’s defense made a few stops, but the Eagles could not add any points.

Early in the fourth quarter, Northeast did record a safety, cutting the score to 8-34. Henry County sealed the game with another touchdown, finishing the night with an 41-8 win.
