CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – North Central Institute (NCI) would like to recognize the June Aviation Maintenance Technology graduates.

After months of intense, challenging, and excellent training, NCI would like congratulate its graduates and program completers for June 2015.

Aviation maintenance is a dynamic career field, changing continuously since Charles Taylor, the first aircraft mechanic, helped design, build, and maintain the engine for the 1903 Wright Brothers’ Flyer.

Now and in the future, aircraft maintenance will continue to change. New designs and materials in aircraft construction and the interface between complex space-age systems, such as navigational aids, fly-by-wire, flight controls and electronic fuel controls, as well as the improvements in the time proven systems such as hydraulics and propellers continue to add to the mysticism of flight.
