Clarksville, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Our ESPN Clarksville, Culver’s Athlete of the Week is Clarksville Academy basketball player, Noah Clayton. The senior guard finished his high school basketball career with 18 points against Community in the Region 5-A tournament quarter finals where he was 5 for 5 from three in the first six minutes of the game.

Clayton, who also played football for the Cougars, takes the same work ethic with him in the classroom. He currently has a 3.98 GPA, and a 30 on his ACT. Clarksville Academy head coach Matt Wallace had this to say about Clayton.

“Noah is in the top 10 in the state in several defensive statistical categories. It has been an honor to be able to coach him for the past two seasons. It’s because of him, and the other six seniors on our team who gave everything they had, especially the second half of this season, that the abrupt end to our season will sting for a long time.” Said Wallace.

Congratulations to Noah Clayton, our ESPN Clarksville Culver’s Athlete of the Week.
