Nicholas Wayne Jenkins, “Nick”, age 42 passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Nick entered this life on December 20, 1978, to Danny Wayne Rittenberry and Debbie Jenkins Rittenberry. He always loved playing softball and was a sports fan. Most of all, Nick enjoyed time with his family.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Buck and Gertie Jenkins.
Survivors include his mother, Debbie Rittenberry; life-long companion, Edwina Powers; children, Dawson and Sophie Jenkins; siblings, Eric Rittenberry and Amy (Brandon) Haley, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pallbearers will be Craig Carter, Daniel Dick, Justin Jenkins, Brian Rittenberry, Caleb Haley, Kyle Grotchel, Scott Thompson, and Richard Huff.
