CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A restaurant with Cajun flair will soon be opening in downtown Clarksville.
According to its website, Tea Bayou, currently located in Bowling Green, Ky., will move to the Clarksville area.
Owners Theresa and Greg Shea wrote a message on their site to let customers know the news.
“We have been looking to relocate our shop within the Bowling Green area, but we have not been able to find a building that met our needs. We have been bursting at the seams in our little shop on State Street for quite some time.
Exhausting our options in Bowling Green, we decided to look into nearby towns that have been requesting for us to move to their communities. After looking at Clarksville, TN, we found a wonderful downtown building that is large enough for all of our needs, and will allow us to take our shop into the next phase.”
Tea Bayou serves fine-casual ‘AmeriCajun’ cuisine. Remodeling will begin in October and the owners will give the business a new name.
An opening date has not yet been announced.
