CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Officials have shared new information with ClarksvilleNow.com about a day care where a sex offender was arrested last week.
Christopher Dlubac, 38, was wanted by the Tennessee Department of Corrections and the Clarksville Police Department for sex offender violation, probation violation, and theft of property.
He was arrested at a home at 1468 Buchanan Drive where deputies discovered an operating day care. Vanessa’s Little Ones Childcare provides care to seven children, four of whom were present at the time of Dlubac’s arrest.
The TN Department of Human Services said Tuesday that Vanessa’s Little One’s was previously licensed by the state until voluntarily closing as a licensed agency in June 2015.
“DHS is aware of the reported amount of children present and we are currently investigating that issue to see if they were operating illegally,” DHS Public Information Officer Devin Stone said.
Information about the operators of the day care was not provided.
