CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville’s newest art gallery, the DBO Creative Circle, and the Dude with a Camera Photography and Design Studio will host a grand opening Saturday, May 12 from 5-8 p.m.

The brand new creative space, located on 128 North Second Street, is inside of the newly renovated Regions Building across from the Downtown Commons.

The DBO Gallery will offer a multitude of events each month including paint nights, a second Saturday Art Crawl, and more.

The gallery director, Olasubomi Aka-Bashorum began his career in Oklahoma before settling down in Nashville where he also runs an art gallery in the Arcade.

“The purpose for the DBO Creative Circle is to provide a space where creative minds can meet and create new art in whatever medium that may be,” Aka-Bashorum said.

The space will allow Clarksville residents to see new artwork by artists from all over the country each and every month.

The Dude with a Camera Photography and Design Studio is owned by Lucas Ryan Chambers, an internationally published local photographer and the creator of the Faces of Downtown Clarksville. This space will also offer many services ranging from graphic design to professional photography. There will also be classes in photography for every skill level from beginner to advanced held each month.

The public is invited to attend the grand opening and enjoy music, food, and brand-new art. For more information visit ArtbyOla.com and TheDudewithaCamera.com, or you can stay up to date on future events through Facebook.
