CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – NetGreene Solutions and CrossPath Telecom hosted a Financial Freedom Celebration on Thursday, May 20, at Freedom Point at Liberty Park.

Scott Greene, owner and operator/CEO, said the company began working about 2 1/2 years ago to become debt-free. Greene said they were following the principles laid out by Dave Ramsey and his organization.

“We started off with about $340,000 at that time of debt, that the company had taken over during its growth period since 2013,” Greene said.

Greene added that on April 15, 2021, the company finished making their last payment to the bank. At the celebration, Greene and company officials made a visual presentation of a large check to US Bank for $139,254.51, and Chase Bank for $37,898.52.

LifePoint Church was a recipient of a financial donation of $5,000 from the company, accepted by Pastor Mike Burnette.

“What we talk about is being different, not just consumers of the community but also putting back into the community,” Greene said.

Greene talked about them being a faith-based company and of their support for a number of local churches and how they have followed the continuing work of LifePoint Church. “We just wanted to give money back to an organization here in Clarksville that would take that money and support other organizations here in Clarksville,” Greene said.

NetGreene Solutions and CrossPath Telecom are also major supporters of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville.

Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts was the guest speaker at the celebration and praised the company for their business practices and their support of the city.
