CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – High temperatures will approach the record followed by several days of steady rain with possible flooding.
On Monday the expected high is 74. The record for this date is 77, set back in 1939.
On Tuesday, the high is expected to reach 80, just 1 degree short of the record set in 1986.
The warming trend will be followed by several days of steady rain. Forecasters with the National Weather Service say Clarksville residents can expect up to 5 inches of rain Wednesday through Monday, with rivers possibly approaching the action stage.
