CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Amateur Athletic Union’s (AAU) 10-and-Under National Basketball Championships taking place in Clarksville-Montgomery County drew an NBA star basketball player, Carmelo Anthony, to town to watch his son, Kiyan, plays on one of the teams, the NY Gauchos (Croft).
Anthony was at Northeast High School Monday and Clarksville High School Tuesday watching his son play and if the NY Gauchos (Croft) won Tuesday’s game they would advance to the championship on Wednesday.
Anthony plays with the New York Knicks but there are rumors in the sports world he is being traded to the Houston Rockets.
