CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – First Baptist Church will host bestselling author and national radio host Ken Ham as part of the church’s upcoming Answers in Genesis (AIG) Conference.

The conference will cover how the church and the Christian faith deal with certain hot topics, including gay marriage, evolution, racism, and other faith-based issues.

Ken Ham is known for his controversial televised debate with Bill Nye “The Science Guy” regarding science and biblical information. Ham will speak during the event and field questions from attendees.

As president and CEO of Answers in Genesis and the Creation Museum, Ham presents creation topics at Answers Conferences worldwide.

Dr. Tommy Mitchell, who graduated with a BA from the University of Tennessee Knoxville with a major in cell biology and a minor in biochemistry, will also speak during the event.

The family-friendly conference is scheduled for Nov. 8 and 9. Certain segments will be geared toward children, with a homeschool-focused discussion Nov. 9.
