NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Nashville Predators will play two preseason games each with the Eastern Conference champion Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers and Columbus Blue Jackets.
Nashville opens the preseason Sept. 20 by hosting Florida in a split-squad doubleheader. The Predators then face the Lightning on consecutive nights, with a Sept. 22 game in Tampa and a Sept. 23 matchup in Nashville.
In their final two preseason games, the Predators host the Blue Jackets on Sept. 29 and travel to Columbus on Oct. 3.
The Predators are scheduled to open rookie camp Sept. 10. The team’s prospects will play a rookie tournament against the Washington Capitals, Tampa Bay and Florida on Sept. 12-15 at Estero, Florida. Veterans will report for testing and physicals on Sept. 17.
