CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Nashville Kats celebrated their Arena Crown championship with fans Tuesday evening at the Downtown Commons.
The celebration gave fans an opportunity to meet the team and take photos. The event featured live music, yard games, an inflatable and food and drinks. During the celebration, Kats players and coaches were introduced and spoke to the crowd about the season and the support they received.
Head coach Darren Arbet thanked everyone for their support throughout the season. “Just coming to the games and the energy you gave our team this year was unbelievable,” Arbet said. “They are always excited to play here.”
Team owner Jeff Jarrett also addressed the crowd, praising the fans and F&M Bank Arena. “You fans showed up and were loud,” Jarrett said. “These guys put the ‘W on the scoreboard’ week after week after week.” Jarrett also thanked the coaches, staff and others involved with the organization and said he was grateful to be part of the team.
Montgomery County Mayor Wes Golden, said the championship celebration was an example of the community coming together. “This has been a prime example of our community pulling together our businesses, pulling together nonprofits, and everybody coming to celebrate and have a good time.”
Golden also thanked the Kats and their fans for their role in bringing the championship to the community. “I just want to say a big thank you to all the Kats, and all the Kats fans, because this has been an absolute great season,” Golden said.
