NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — While there have been some long wait lines for security checks in recent weeks at Nashville International Airport, officials expect wait lines of no longer than 30 minutes through Easter weekend.

WKRN News 2 reports that the airport officials still advise travelers to get to the terminal two hours before a flight time since it will be “relatively busy.”

The airport estimates 21,000 travelers Friday, with another 20,000 on Monday as Easter weekend winds down.

Recent travel alerts due to the Belgium terror attacks have also added to heightened security and longer lines during peak airport departures.
