Nannie T. Leis, 88, of Indian Mound, TN, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at her residence.

Nannie was born on April 20, 1926 in Keavy, KY to the late Frank Turner and Lillie Mae Barger Turner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George W. Leis; son, Edward W. Leis; brother, Frank Turner, Jr.; sister, Trish Turner Askew; and three grandchildren, Tonya Joseph, Justin Pieratt, and Adam Pieratt.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at The Tabernacle Church in Indian Mound, TN. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the church.

Nannie was a dedicated homemaker and excellent cook. She was a two-time cancer survivor, member of the Ostomy Club, and enjoyed taking part in cancer walks. She was a prayer warrior and member of The Tabernacle Church.

Nannie is survived by two sons, Milford (Kathy) Leis of Middletown, OH and James Leis of Indian Mound, TN; three daughters, Barbara (Gerald) Clark of Clarksville, TN, Linda Pieratt, and Debra (Rick) Marsh of Indian Mound, TN; two brothers, Rick Turner and Curtis Turner of Hamilton, OH; two sisters, Julie Schreck and Kathy Johnson of Hamilton, OH; ten grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.

Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
