CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – My Girls, a community organization dedicated to empowering young women, will host an anti-bully seminar, “You Can’t Sit With Us”, on Saturday, October 18.

The seminar will be at Daymar Institute, located at 2691 Trenton Rd., and will include discussions on female relationships, bullying, and prevention techniques.

“With it being National Bully Prevention Month, we thought it was important to call attention to some of the issues happening in the ‘girl world’ and try to fix them,” said Tiffany Perkins, My Girls co-founder.

One of the main goals of the seminar is to get girls talking about the negative interactions they see and present ways that we can change them.

The mission of My Girls is to uplift middle and high school girls, and provide them with the tools they need to change the world. The organization aims to encourage girls to challenge the impossible, and become the next leaders in their field of interest.
