OAK GROVE, Ky. – Kentucky State Police (KSP) investigated four, non-injury collisions that occurred on I-24 westbound around mile marker 93 near the state line on Thursday at 10:15 p.m.
Police said several cows had made their way onto the travel portion of the interstate where they were struck by three tractor-trailers and one passenger car. No injuries were reported.
The scene was cleared at approximately 1:08 a.m. Friday. The remaining cows will be removed later today.
Troopers Jonathan Johnson and Billy Over investigated the collisions. Sergeant Tim Sales, the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, and the Clarksville Police Department assisted at the scene.
