John Joseph Casey, 74, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at his residence.

A celebration of his life will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial with full military honors will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. and from 9-9:30 a.m. Tuesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel.

Mr. Casey was born April 8, 1942 Harlem, NY and was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Delia Durcan Casey; and his wife, Irmtrud (Judy) Casey.

He was a retired MSG with the U.S. Army Veteran and served in Viet Nam and Desert Storm, member of VFW Post 11160, a Catholic, and attended APSU.

Survivors include his daughters Michelle (Chris) Smith, Judy (Chris) Froeba; sister, Sr. Mary Casey; grandchildren, Casey (Dakota) Bulmer, Johnathan David “JD” Smith and Christopher Froeba Jr.; great-grandchild, Layken Bulmer.
