CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Movies in the Park, the city’s free, outdoor movie series, continues Saturday, June 18 with the showing of Guardians of the Galaxy at McGregor Park.

The showings at McGregor Park, located at 640 N. Riverside Drive, will take place at the North Extension (behind O’Charleys). The season will continue with the last five showings at Liberty Park, located at 1188 Cumberland Drive.

Movies begin at sunset with pre-show activities beginning one hour before show time. Patrons are encouraged to bring picnic baskets, blankets, and chairs, but no pets. Concessions will be available for purchase onsite for those who do not bring outside food.

The 2016 series, brought to you in part by Convergys, will include:

July 9 – Minions at McGregor Park
July 23– Pitch Perfect 2 at Liberty Park
August 20 – A League of Their Own at Liberty Park
September 8 – Riverfest Film Festival at Liberty Park
September 24 – Inside Out at Liberty Park
October 8 – Jurassic World at Liberty Park
