CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Movies in the Park returned on Saturday for the second time this year, featuring the Disney film “Toy Story 4.” Social distancing measures were in place at the showing, with white squares painted on the athletic field serving as seating areas for each group.
Loaves & Fishes provided the first 250 guests with free buckets of popcorn, which also serves as a $1 discount for popcorn at future Movies in the Park this year. The first 350 guests were also provided with free Movies in the Park Twist & Chill fans, which were welcome gifts in Saturday’s scorching heat.
The next Movies in the Park is scheduled for Aug. 15, featuring “Pokemon Detective Pikachu” at the Liberty Park Athletic Field. Clarksville Parks & Rec notes that due to the ongoing pandemic, dates are subject to cancellations and changes. Guests are encouraged to stay up-to-date by checking the Parks & Rec Facebook page and their other social media channels.
