CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Movies in the Park, the City’s free, outdoor movie series, has kicked off its ninth season and the series continues Saturday, May 24 at Heritage Park, 1241 Peachers Mill Rd.
‘Turbo,’ rated PG, will be shown at approximately 8:15 p.m. (dependent on sunset). Activities begin at 7:15 p.m. and include hula instruction from the Hawaiian Civic Club and a faux ‘Drive-in’: Movie-goers are encouraged to bring a cardboard box big enough to sit in. Clarksville Parks & Recreation will supply all the needed craft supplies to turn your box into a car. The first 500 attendees get a free checkered flag.
Admission is free. Bring your own blankets and lawn chairs. Food vendors will be on-site. Arrive early to get a good seat and to participate in the pre-movie activities. No pets or smoking allowed.
