CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Movies in the Park, the City of Clarksville’s free, outdoor movie series, continues its 14th season on Saturday, September 21, with a showing of “Mary Poppins Returns” at Liberty Park, 1190 Cumberland Dr.
Pre-show activities begin at 5:00 p.m. and will include a performance by Stars Dance Studio, chalk art with Art Link, kite making and penguin bowling provided by Relay for Life. Learn how to freeze homemade ice cream using liquid nitrogen with APSU STEM and enjoy a frozen treat with the movie.
The movie will begin promptly at 6:45 p.m.
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, food, and drinks. Pets and alcohol are not allowed. Chick-Fil-A and Kona Ice will be available for food and drink purchases.
There is one more movie remaining in the 2019 season. “The Karate Kid” will show at Liberty Park on October 12.
