Update, 9:18 a.m.: The motorcyclist, having the green arrow, was making a left turn onto Madison from the Bypass, according to Clarksville Police. As he entered the intersection, an unknown motorist traveling eastbound on Madison ran the red light and struck the motorcycle, and then fled the scene.

The motorcyclist was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center by LifeFlight helicopter and was reported in critical condition.

Fatal Accident Crash Investigators responded to the scene and this is still an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information regarding the hit-and-run vehicle is asked to contact Investigator Crosby at 931-648-0656, ext. 5336.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A motorcyclist was injured in an overnight hit-and-run crash at Madison Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway.

The crash was reported at 2:24 a.m. Sunday morning, according to Clarksville Now news partner Dash 10 Media. The other vehicle involved drove off, leaving the motorcyclist injured in the roadway.

Several people witnessed the crash and helped until first responders arrived. The motorcyclist was transported by helicopter to a Nashville-area hospital. He was reported to have disorientation and a fractured femur in the left leg, Dash 10 Media reported.
