CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A motorcycle rider was injured in a crash Sunday evening around 6:15 p.m. on the 41-A Bypass.
Clarksville police said a car and motorcycle were both traveling west on the 41-A Bypass and the motorcycle was traveling behind the car.
The driver of the car was making a right turn onto Edmondson Ferry when the motorcyclist entered the left-turn-only-lane to go around the car. As he was trying to go around, another car was making a left turn off Edmondson Ferry onto the 41-A Bypass to head south when the motorcycle collided with the passenger side of the car.
The motorcyclist was taken to Tennova in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed at this time.
