CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Another arrest has been made in connection with the Sunday morning shooting. The mother of homicide suspect Joseph Morris, 24, Susan Ficklin, 47, has been charged with Accessory After the Fact/Criminal Homicide in conjunction with the Earl Slate Rd homicide of Matthew Nelson, 35.

After Morris allegedly committed the homicide and fled the scene, he showed up at a friend’s residence in a car driven by Ficklin.  She was allegedly aware of the crime her son had allegedly committed. Police believe her intent  was to take him to Indiana because she had to get him out of Clarksville.  Ficklin and Morris were located in Elizabethtown, Ky and stopped by Kentucky Highway Patrol.

Susan Ficklin is being held in Hardin County, Ky without Bond and awaiting extradition back to Clarksville.

Still At Large

Police are still looking for Delion Trouse for the May 19 homicide of Darion Ogburn, 21. This shooting occurred at 2819 Wilma Rudolph Blvd on Sunday, May 19. The two homicides are unrelated. Delion Trouse, 22, 5’8″, 130 lbs has an active Criminal Homicide warrant on file.  They type of vehicle he is traveling in is unknown.

Trouse is a suspect and should be considered ARMED and DANGEROUS.

The investigation is ongoing.
