CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Another round of strong storms is expected for Middle Tennessee Monday evening.

Officials predict severe weather will hit this evening, between 4:00 – 8:00 pm, though it may be earlier.

Sunday’s storm damage included downed trees and a temporary power outage for some Montgomery County residents. South of the county, surrounding Nashville, saw the bulk of the damage, with straight line winds reaching up to 70mph near the Nashville International Airport.

This evening another round of severe thunderstorms will creep in, with wind and the slightest potential for a tornado.
