CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 2001 Needmore Road in Clarksville will host a job fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, for 13 employers seeking to fill more than 830 positions in Montgomery, Dickson and Davidson counties.
Employers include Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, Contemporary Services Corp., O’Charley’s, RE West, Wayne Brothers, Oak Plains Academy, Tennessee Department of Corrections, Agero, People Ready, Concentrix, Trojan Labor, Transamerica/WFG and Goodwill. Clarksville Area Re-Entry Program will be on hand as a community resource.
Openings include mental health associate, commercial driver, cook, dishwasher, correctional officer, construction, carpenter, hospitality, customer service representative, substitute teacher, custodian, and other positions. Rates of pay reach $30 per hour.
Representatives from these companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
