CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 2001 Needmore Road in Clarksville will host a job fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, for 14 employers seeking to fill more than 1,500 positions in Montgomery, Robertson, Davidson and nearby counties.
Employers include Goodwill, Oak Plains Academy, YMCA, Wayne Brothers Inc., Workforce Opportunity Services, IOS Staffing, Purity Zink Metals, Convergys, HG Staffing, Contemporary Services Corp., Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, R.E. West, Macy’s Logistics and Denny’s Restaurant.
Openings include retail, mental health associate, construction, heavy equipment, carpenter, concrete, child care, technical support, production, forklift, unarmed security, bus driver, substitute, truck driver, warehouse and other positions. Rates of pay reach $31 per hour.
Representatives from these companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
