CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Students at Moore Magnet School got an up close look at a career in law enforcement Thursday morning during their Career Day.
Sgt. Robert Oliver, along with his K-9 team, talked to the kids about the importance of continuing their education, let them pet one of the K-9s and showed them how bite training works.
Sgt. Malcolm Burgess, of the ESU team, showed the students various equipment and vehicles the ESU uses for search warrants and other high-risk operations.
Deputy Tim Harp gave a demonstration on how the bomb robot is used to locate and diffuse explosives in a way that isn’t dangerous to deputies and citizens.
