CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Montgomery County Veterans Coalition wants the Clarksville community to join them for their first-ever Boots on the Ground fundraiser at Flip’n Axe and Rage Room on Thursday, May 4, from 5-8 p.m.
Enjoy fun at the veteran-owned business, plus Homiez Taco truck and Star-Spangled Brewery beer, all while raising money for the Montgomery County Veterans Coalition.
The Montgomery County Veterans Coalition has been at the forefront of helping with the needs of the veteran community since they began close to 10 years ago.
“We have more than 400 members that represent over 350 nonprofits, veteran organizations, government agencies, churches and businesses,” said Sherry Pickering, executive director. “I think education, collaboration and advocacy, are the most important things that we do.
“Our Veterans Coalition works to not only advocate for our veterans’ needs, but to ensure our community is recognized as the fastest growing population of veterans in this state,” Pickering said.
