CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Montgomery County Trustee Kimberly B. Wiggins, MBA, has announced her campaign for re-election.
First elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2022, Wiggins said she has modernized the Trustee’s Office, overseeing billions in county transactions annually while expanding taxpayer services and strengthening programs that support elderly, disabled and veteran residents.
Her leadership has earned statewide recognition, including the Legacy Award and President’s Award from the Tennessee County Trustees Association in 2025. Wiggins also serves as Audit Committee chair and Education & Vendor Committee chair for the association. She holds multiple professional certifications, including Certified Public Administrator, Certified County Finance Officer, and Government Finance Executive Certification.
Beyond her professional role, Wiggins is deeply engaged in civic life. She has served as president of APSU’s Center of Excellence for Creative Arts Board, co-chair of the APSU Candlelight Ball Committee, and continues to mentor student-athletes through APSU’s LeadHer Advisory Board. A Rotarian since 2016, she has held leadership roles including club president and assistant district governor, earning numerous district awards for service and innovation. She also serves on boards for Blue Star Families, Wade Bourne Nature Center Foundation, and Leadership Middle Tennessee and serves a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Her honors include Middle Tennessee Trustee of the Year (2022), Elected Official of the Year from the TN Association of Property Tax Professionals, Delta Sigma Theta Community Leader Award, and Order of Eastern Star Citizen of the Year Award.
“It continues to be the honor of my life to serve the people of Montgomery County,” Wiggins said. “I believe deeply in protecting taxpayer dollars, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring every resident receives fair and transparent support. I am running for re-election to keep Montgomery County financially strong for the future.”
Wiggins and her husband, O’Neal Wiggins, U.S. Army retired master sergeant, are co-founders of Wiggins Medical Transit.
