CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office would like to congratulate Corporal Terrance Welsh on his recent promotion to the rank of Sergeant and Deputy Jamie Kelly on his recent promotion to the rank of Corporal in the Courts Division.
Sgt. Welsh began his career with the Sheriff’s Office in February of 2004 with the Detention Division. Welsh transferred to the Enforcement Division in August of 2007 where he worked in the General Sessions and Circuit Courts as a bailiff. Sgt. Welsh was promoted to Corporal in July of 2014 and supervised the operations of the Circuit Courtrooms. Sgt. Welsh has a total of fourteen and a half years with the Sheriff’s Office.
Cpl. Kelly began his career at the Sheriff’s Office in February of 2011 with the Detention Division. He was promoted to FTO in October of 2013 and in October of 2014, transferred to the Enforcement Division where he worked in the General Sessions Court as a Bailiff. Cpl. Kelly has a total of seven and a half years with the Sheriff’s Office.
