MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home near the intersection of Lylewood Road and Cumberland City Road Wednesday afternoon in response to a barricaded person in a home.
The person was later identified as Joshua Lee James Donahoo, 39, of Indian Mound.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic assault that had already occurred in the 4000 block of Lylewood Road and met with alleged victims at the end of the driveway.
The alleged victims told deputies a verbal altercation had turned physical when Donahoo threw a glass ashtray in their direction. When Donahoo cut himself on the glass ashtray, he allegedly flicked blood on a woman’s face. A man had an abrasion on his neck from the materials from the thrown ashtray, his warrant said.
Donahoo refused to leave the house when deputies arrived to arrest him.
Investigators were able to establish communication with Donahoo and he came out on his own following the conversation, said Sandra Brandon, public information officer for MCSO.
Around 2 p.m., he was was taken into custody.
Donahoo was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated domestic assault and violation of probation. He was booked in the Montgomery County Jail on a $2,000 bond.
