CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Montgomery County held its annual Employee Service Awards on Thursday at the William O. Beach Civic Hall. More than 140 employees were recognized from 28 county departments, with many in attendance to enjoy lunch and to receive their award.
Awards ranged from 5 to 30 years of service as a county employee. It was the last service awards event for County Mayor Jim Durrett, who will be leaving office this year. Durrett thanked each award recipient for their hard work and service as well as all of the close to 130 other county employees who attended.
