Around 140 Montgomery County employees were recognized for a total of 1,825 years of service to the county at an awards ceremony Wednesday, May 27. Mayor Jim Durrett, Chief of Staff Jeff Truitt and Human Services Director Tim Swaw joined the heads of other county departments as they honored employees with service from five years up to 40 years. Each employee received a certificate, a pin and a gift at the luncheon for their many years of service.
