CLARKSVILLE, TN – In honor of National Recovery Month, Montgomery County Prevention Coalition is hosting its First Annual Recovery Festival on September 23rd from 10am until 2pm at McGregor Park to offer resources and support to individuals and their families in recovery.
This fun-filled event will include face painting, food vendors, a DJ, and resource booths from several organizations throughout Clarksville TN. This event will be sponsored by five agencies, Mirror Lake Recovery Center, Journey Pure, Cumberland Heights, Clarksville Comprehensive Treatment Center, and Quintenn Clark Foundation.
National Recovery Month is celebrated every September to educate the public about mental health and substance use disorders.
In an effort to mitigate the epidemic on substance abuse, the Montgomery County Prevention Coalition, a cohort of community leaders, is working together to promote positive mental health and community outreach to educate members of the community about substance free living.
