The organization maintains gardening projects that the community can enjoy for free, also offering gardening support for other organizations and programs. The tour featured gardens of both flowering plants and food.
One of the gardens that was part of the event was the Jubilee Garden of Radical Mission on Richview Rd. The Jubilee Garden helps to supply fresh food for the community through the Radical Mission Food Pantry.
Rene Janacek, with the Jubilee Garden said she joined the Master Gardeners in 2022 and the Jubilee Garden is a place to meet and build relationships while growing and gathering food. “We invite people to walk through the garden so they can experience the garden rather than just bagging up stuff and handing it out, that’s what makes our garden special,” Janacek said.
