CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Montgomery County Bi-County Solid Waste Management is holding a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day, Saturday, September 17 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Transfer Station, 1230 Highway Drive.

The public can drop off household, drain, oven, wood and metal cleaners along with polishes and disinfectants. Other items like pool chemicals, fingernail polish and remover, along with similar materials can be disposed of.

Home improvement products like paint, thinner, stripper, adhesives and lawn and garden products like pesticides can also be turned in. Automotive products such as gas, oil, antifreeze, fuel additives, grease and rust solvents will also be accepted.

You can help protect the environment by bringing your household hazardous waste to this free event and dispose of it properly. Any Tennessee resident is welcome but it is not open to businesses.
