CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Montgomery County Historical Society has opened the Montgomery County Farmer’s Market for the season, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the L&N Train Station, downtown on 10th Street next to Dixon Park.
There will be fresh produce, baked goods, plants and more homemade goods to look forward to.
Due to the pandemic, many businesses have struggled bouncing back financially, and Brenda Harper, a board member of the MCHS, which operates the train station and the market, which helps cover their funding.
“(Rentals) are really how we cover our operation costs, just to pay the utilities.”
