CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Montgomery County Democratic Party will hold a Biennial Reorganization Convention to elect new leaders on March 28, 2017, at 7 p.m.
The meeting will take place at William O. Beach Civic Hall, 350 Pageant Lane, Suite 201, Clarksville Tennessee, 37040.
Local Democrats will elect new Chairperson(s), Secretary, Treasurer and the Executive Committee for Montgomery County for a two-year term. All Democratic residents who are eligible voters of Montgomery County are urged to attend to discuss the party’s agenda and events for 2017-18.
During reorganization attendees will evaluate the effectiveness of the County Party bylaws and leadership.
Attendees will elect new leaders and enact reforms to build a stronger grassroots organization.
The Reorganization Convention is open to all Montgomery County Democrats. Attendees should arrive early (doors will open at 6 p.m.) to complete credentials forms and be admitted to the convention prior to 7 pm., before the meeting begins.
